Global South
Promoting scientific cooperation and exchange with partners in the Global South is one of the central goals of TU Berlin's Strategy on Global Responsibility.

Working closely with other units at TU Berlin, International Projects coordinates the measures of the University's Strategy on Global Responsibility and is the central point of contact for academic cooperation with partners in the Global South.

Beginning 2019, TU Berlin announces annual calls for seed funding for researchers at the University who are interested in initiating new projects or seeking to strengthen their cooperation with partners in the Global South. An overview of all projects funded since 2019, including reports for projects which have already been implemented, is available on our website under "TU seed funding to support cooperation with the Global South - Funded projects."

To support the academic chairs at TU Berlin and help foster cooperative exchange, International Projects maintains an updated overview of all cooperations with partners in the Global South. We welcome all feedback from the chairs and research groups about current and new projects as well as submitted projects, particularly those which have been approved.

If you have any questions about individual countries, please contact the appropriate person in International Projects (INT IP) or International Scientific Cooperation (INT WS).

Information about student exchange is available from Student Mobility and International Students (INT SB).
