Subsistence expenses for guests

• Subsistence expenses of researchers with a doctorate, university professors and  lecturers can be funded.
  > Daily stipends up to 22 days: 89,- Euro per day;
  > Monthly stipends 23 days or longer: 2000,- Euro.
• Subsistence expenses of Doctoral candidates can be funded.
  > Daily stipends up to 22 days: 54,- Euro per day;
  > Monthly stipends 23 days or longer: 1200,- Euro.

TU Berlin professors are eligible to apply.

Please fill out the application form for funds, and sign and return via interoffice mail or email to International Projects (Contact: INT IP, email: ip(at)international.tu-berlin.de).

In your application, please briefly address the following questions:

• What specific measures will be conducted and to what aim?
• How exactly do your academic chair and TU Berlin as a whole benefit from the stay?

You will be informed of our decision by email after we have reviewed your application. Once you have received approval, please confirm the dates of the stay as soon as possible along with your guest’s home address and banking details. Cash payments are only possible in exceptional cases. Both bank transfers and cash payments require advance notice of approximately four weeks.

After the end of the cooperation activities, please email us a brief report addressing the following points:

• What measures were conducted and to what aim?
• Were the expected outcomes for your stay achieved? With what result?
• How exactly do your academic chair and TU Berlin as a whole benefit from the stay?
• How would you assess the quality of the partnership and future prospects?
