Call for Proposals 2022: Seed Funding for Cooperation with the Global South
Technische Universität Berlin opens another call for proposals for Seed Funding for Cooperation with Partners in the Global South; funds are available for scientific staff of Technische Universität Berlin, who aim at initiating and further strengthening collaboration together with partners in the Global South.
The call will fund proposals which address the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) working on responses to global challenges, and which are in line with the TU Berlin’s Strategy on Global Responsibility. The call seeks to attract project ideas aiming at: capacity building in the Global South, transfer of knowledge/ technology/ skills, joint knowledge creation with partners in the Global South, or/and encouraging exchange and networking between Departments. The participation of young researchers at TU Berlin and young researchers of universities from regions of the Global South is particularly welcome.
Project ideas shall result in the preparation of one or several proposals for third-party funding, and thus contribute to the international cooperation between partners in the Global South and TU Berlin.

Event: Funding Opportunities for Cooperation with Partners in the Global South
The Research and Technology Transfer Department and International Projects Section of the Department of International Affairs are holding an information event on funding opportunities with the Global South.
The event offers an overview of relevant national and European funding lines (DAAD, DFG, Horizon Europe, ERASMUS+, etc.) You will learn about funding opportunities and framework conditions in the areas of research, innovation, mobility for researchers, and capacity building. In addition, we will inform about the Seed Funding Call for Cooperation with Partners in the Global South  in response to the Sustainable Development Goals which is open for applications (until 1 March 2022).
Target Group: TU Berlin scientists interested in a cooperation with partners in Global South countries.
