“How to find EU funding for my own research topic?” Bottom-up funding programmes in Horizon 2020

The EU’s funding programmes are well-known for their pre-defined topics and their collaborative research projects. However the current framework program Horizon 2020 also provides a considerable amount of funding for basic research and bottom-up research questions from all research disciplines. In an information event on 5 March 2018,10.00 to 11.00 a. m. in room BEL 301 (Villa BEL) Dr. Gehweiler from the EU Office of the TU Berlin gives an overview of the following open thematic funding programmes within Horizon 2020:

  • European Research Council (ERC)
  • Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action (MSCA – ITN und IF)
  • Future and Emerging Technologies (FET)

The information event is aimed at scientists (doctoral students about to finish their PhD, postdocs, junior research group leaders, professors) who are looking for funding for their own research projects.

The presentation of the event was made available to all professors of the Faculty II.
